PROJECT REGISTRATION FOR FYP1 ( Week 5 )



Activity :  Supervisor need to register student FYP project before deadline ( end of Week 5 ). Besides, student also need to find any input or other information for the proposed projects.



Objective :  By registering student project, student able to proceed with FYP 1 coursework without any problem. Thats why, student need to come out with proper project ideas and tittle before supervisor can register it.



Content / Procedure :  


1 )  Student need to inform their supervisor to register their project before the deadline. Student also need to double check the tittle of their project in the system so the registered project are correct without any error.



2 )  Student able to make a list of the components that going to be used for the project. 



Result & Analysis :


1)  List of components and software used are listed below.



Component used for Development of Arduino Fingerprint Attendance System with Cloud Data Storage :


  • Arduino Mega 2560 R3
  • R301T Fingerprint Sensor
  • Micro SD TF Card Adapter Module
  • 3.5" TFT Color Display Screen Module
  • NodeMCU ESP 8266 ESP - 12E Board
  • Male to Female wire jumper


Software apps and online services used :

  • Arduino IDE
  • Thingspeak








Conclusion :  To summarize, the project has been successfully registered in the system. Moreover, student also able to identify and make a list of component used for the project.

ESTIMATING COMPONENT COST ( Week 16 )

Activity : Estimating component and project costing. Objective : Help student to make a budget planning for the FYP project. Content/Procedure :  1) Student make a list of component that need to buy. 2) Student survey the price of components online and make a rough estimation. Result & Analysis :  1) A list of component with their pricing has been made. This is important in order to help student a make a budget for the project. Besides that, student can compare which seller or shop that selling the components with more cheaper and affordable price. This also help student to compare which components with better quality.
