FYP REPORT & LOGBOOK SUBMISSION ( Week 17 )

Activity : Submission of FYP report and logbook. Objective : To submit and settle up all coursework before deadline.  Content/Procedure :  1) Student collect report draft from supervisor that has been sent to her during week 13. 2) Student need to touch up and make correction based on draft report that has been checked by supervisor. Result & Analysis : 1) Student meet with supervisor to collect back the report draft that has been checked. A discussion session was held.  2) Supervisor give advise and opinion to student. Student are advised to rephrase their words and sentences in order to reduce the plagiarism percentage. Student need to touch up and make correction based on the errors. ESTIMATING COMPONENT COST ( Week 16 )

Activity : Estimating component and project costing. Objective : Help student to make a budget planning for the FYP project. Content/Procedure :  1) Student make a list of component that need to buy. 2) Student survey the price of components online and make a rough estimation. Result & Analysis :  1) A list of component with their pricing has been made. This is important in order to help student a make a budget for the project. Besides that, student can compare which seller or shop that selling the components with more cheaper and affordable price. This also help student to compare which components with better quality. Figure below show estimated pricing for those components.  Conclusion : Briefly, student manage to make a list of components that need to be used for the project. Moreover, student manage to survey and compare the price and quality of the components by different seller. This can help student

SINGING UP FOR THINGSPEAK ACCOUNT & CHANNEL ( Week 15 )

Activity : Making account for ThingSpeak  Objective : Helping student with the progress of the project. Content/Procedure : 1) Student need to study and get information about ThingSpeak. 2) Student need to sign up at  https://thingspeak.com/  in order to make an account  and new channel for the project. Result & Analysis :  1) Student manage to gain knowledge on Thingspeak with the aid of internet and videos from Youtube. In simple words,  ThingSpeak is an open-source Internet of Things application and API to store and retrieve data from things using the HTTP and MQTT protocol over the Internet or via a Local Area Network. 2) Besides that, student manage to sign up in order to make an Thingspeak account and channel. INFORMATION & IDEAS SEARCHING ON SALIVA TESTING ( Week 14 )

Activity : Finding information on saliva testing. Objective : To fulfill assessors opinion and recommendation. Content/Procedure :  1) Student need to follow and fulfill assessors recommendation from presentation on week 10. 2) Student need to find valuable information on saliva testing and consult with the supervisor. Results / Analysis : 1) Student manage to get an ideas on saliva testing and discuss with the supervisor. SUBMISSION OF REPORT DRAFT ( Week 13 )

Activity : Submitting the draft of FYP 1 report to the supervisor. Objective : To ensure and help student finish FYP 1 report before the deadline. Content/Procedure :  1) Student need to finish up the report based on supervisor expectation. 2) Student need to submit the draft before 25 October 2019. Result/Analysis : 1) All important task or subtopic are included inside the report. Student print the report and send it to supervisor as a draft. 2) Student manage to make Gantt chart and schematic diagram for the project as shown in Figures below. Gantt chart is important for the student time management and planning in order to complete the project. DISCUSSION ON REPORT DRAFT ( Week 12 )

Activity : Meet and discussion session with supervisor. Objective : To ask opinion from supervisor. Content/Procedure : 1) Student meet with supervisor at the office and discussion session was conducted. 2) Jot down important notes. Result & Analysis :  1) Student discuss with supervisor to ask for guide and opinion for draft for FYP 1 report. From that discussion, student need to include several missing subtopic in the report. Below is the outcome from the discussion session :  Need to revise the chapter 2 of the report which is the literature review. Need to add up to 4 or 5 literature sources such as articles, journal or books. Need to add schematic diagram, list of components price and Gantt chart inside chapter 3 of the report. 2) Besides, supervisor also ask student to settle up the FYP blog which later need to be print and send it to her. 3) Student need to submit FYP 1 draft later. Activity : Proceed with chapter 3 for FYP 1 report. Objective : Help student to complete their FYP 1 report before the deadline. Content/Procedure :  1) Firstly, student need to make some research for chapter 3 which is Methodology. 2) Student can refer to previous presentation slide or other reliable source. Result & Analysis :  1) By referring to the guidelines, student knew what need to be included as subtopic inside Chapter 3.
